How can children come to love the Qur'an?
Many titles take one surah at a time. In the Tafseer videos, Sheikh Azhari and his children explore surahs such as Al-Ikhlas, Al-Fil and Al-Kawthar. Qur'an for Little Muslims ties each surah to a family story, from chicken pox and Ash-Sharh to a first Laylat al-Qadr, and there are recitations of the last twenty surahs to listen to and learn by heart.
Others start with the letters. Alif to Qur'an teaches the Arabic alphabet with a word and a recited verse for each letter, and a jigsaw game is built around baa, the letter that begins Bismillah.
There are Islamic stories about the Qur'an itself too: the angel Jibril bringing the first word, "Iqra", to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in Cave Hira, and Ramadan as the month in which it was revealed. Several bedtime titles teach Ayat al-Kursi and the three Quls, which the Prophet ﷺ recited before sleep.
