How does Islam teach children to honour their parents?
The Qur'an puts being good to parents straight after worshipping Allah: we do not say even "uff" to them, we speak to them kindly, and we pray for them as they cared for us when we were small. A short khutbah for children explains these ayahs, and the hadith in which the Prophet ﷺ named "your mother" three times, then "your father".
