What is A to Z of Mini Muslims about?

A to Z of Mini Muslims is an Islamic audiobook for young children that goes through the alphabet from A to Z, with a word about Islam and being a Muslim for every letter.

A is for Allah, the One who created everything, and B is for Bismillah, which we say before we begin anything. C is for the crescent moon that begins each new month, and the twelve Islamic months are named in Arabic, from Muharram to Dhul Hijjah. Then come dua, Eid, fasting, good manners, Hajj, Islam, Jannah, the Kaaba, and Laylat al-Qadr, the Night of Power, which is better than a thousand months.

M is for the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, our final prophet, sent with the Qur'an. The second half of the alphabet turns to how Muslims live: looking after our neighbours, obeying Allah's commands, loving and respecting our parents, praying salah five times a day, keeping clean with tahara and wudu, and visiting the sick. U is for the ummah, one Muslim community wherever we are from, and Y is for yarhamukallah, what we say when someone sneezes and says Alhamdulillah. Z is for zakah, giving to the poor and needy.

Each letter has a line or two of simple explanation, so the book works both as a first introduction to Islamic words and as a way to practise the alphabet. It is written by Mariam Latifi, illustrated by Saba Yasmeen and narrated by Waleed Hamid. It takes about six minutes and is music-free.
