What is Arabic Letters Naughty & Nice Part 1 about?

Arabic Letters Naughty & Nice Part 1 is an animated video for children aged 4 to 9 that introduces the first seven letters of the Arabic alphabet, from Alif to Khaa, as characters with personalities of their own.

Each letter has a short scene, many of them full of English words that begin with its sound. Alif is playing football in the park when the rain comes down, and he sneezes: naughty Alif, cover your mouth! Two sheep sunbathing on the beach argue over whether a shape is a boat, until one says it is letter Baa, and they laugh, "Baa! Baa!" Taa eats toast and drinks tea, talks with his mouth full, slurps and burps: terrible table manners. Thaa is in the garden with a rabbit called Thumper and gets a thorn in her thumb from a thistle; Mummy takes it out, and Thaa says thank you. Jeem jumps on a trampoline in the gym, higher and higher, until he hits the ceiling. Haa plays in the snow with Alif with no gloves and no scarf, and is soon shivering. And at bedtime, while Daddy reads a story, Khaa falls asleep snoring.

The narration says each letter's name with authentic Arabic pronunciation, and the funny sounds (a sneeze, a "baa", a snore) help children remember them. The naughty letters are an easy way into talking about manners: covering a sneeze, eating politely and saying thank you.

The interactive Book 1 teaches the same letters as a mini-book. The video is about 5 minutes long and music-free, and it is a Miraj original.
