What is Arabic Letters Naughty & Nice Part 2 about?
Arabic Letters Naughty & Nice Part 2 is an animated video for children aged 4 to 9 that introduces eight more letters of the Arabic alphabet, from Daal to Daad, some naughty and some nice.
Daal dresses up as a deadly dragon, hides behind the door and jumps out roaring at his little sister. Dhaal cannot choose in the sweet shop, "these, or maybe those", while the queue behind grows angry, until Dhaal decides to have them all. Raa cuts all the roses in Granny's garden and Granny is upset, but they are going in his rocket to a friend on the moon, who thinks they smell lovely. Zaay hits her friend Zebra while playing and does not say sorry, then feels bad, buys Zebra a stripy mug and says sorry with a hug.
The nice letters are kind. Seen invites a seal and a seagull to dinner and serves them salad sprinkled with seeds, salmon and squid, then ice cream. Sheen has a shiny coin to buy shoes, but on the way sees a dog shivering with cold and buys a shawl for the dog instead. Saad asks for salt in his soup, and nobody understands until a two-humped camel works it out. Last comes Daad, in tears because no one can say his name; the teacher tells him it is a very special name.
The narration says each letter's name with authentic Arabic pronunciation, and the English words in each scene begin with a sound close to the letter's. The video is about 6 minutes long and music-free. The interactive Book 2 teaches the same letters, and it is a Miraj original.
