What is Juz by Juz: The Believer from Firawn's Family about?
Juz by Juz: The Believer from Firawn's Family is an Islamic video for children aged 7 to 9 in which Sheikh Azhari and his children tell the Qur'an story of a man from Firawn's own family who believed in Allah and spoke up to protect Prophet Musa (AS).
Firawn decided to kill Musa. But a believing man from Firawn's family, whom the Sheikh describes as his cousin, stood up to him. Why kill a man just because he says "My Lord is Allah"? If Musa was lying, the lie would be on him; but if he was telling the truth, Firawn and his people would suffer what Musa warned them of. He reminded them of the signs Musa had brought, such as his staff that turned into a snake.
Firawn did not listen. He told his minister Haman to build him a tall tower so that he could climb up and look for the God of Musa. The children laugh at the idea: no tower can reach Allah. In the end, Allah protected the believing man from their plots.
The Sheikh uses the story to teach children not to join in when others are doing wrong, to thank Allah for His blessings, like our eyes, ears and hands, because the more we thank Him the more He gives, and to help anyone who is in difficulty, because then Allah helps us. He reminds them that one day we will be asked about the blessings Allah gave us, and whether we thanked Him.
The children draw the animal Musa's staff became and a tower reaching into the sky, and answer a quiz about the day Adam and Hawwa were sent down, the rak'ahs of Maghrib and the Prophet's ﷺ work as a shepherd.
