Who was Prophet Nuh (AS)?
Nuh (AS) called his people to worship Allah alone, night and day, openly and in private. They put their fingers in their ears, would not leave their idols and laughed at him. The Qur'an says he stayed among them a thousand years less fifty, and he never gave up.
Then Allah told him to build the ark. His people mocked him as they passed, but he obeyed. He carried the believers and a pair of every kind of animal. His son would not come aboard and said a mountain would keep him safe, but the waves came between them. At last the ark came to rest on Mount Judi.
