These Miraj audiobooks, video and picture book tell his story for children alongside his father's.

Who was Prophet Ismail (AS)?
Ibrahim (AS) asked Allah for a righteous son for many years, and Allah gave him Ismail. At Allah's command he left Hajar and the baby in a valley with no water. When their water ran out, Hajar ran between the hills of Safa and Marwah looking for more, and the water of Zamzam bubbled up beside her child. Birds came, then people, and the town of Makkah grew around the well.
When Ismail was old enough to walk with his father, Ibrahim saw in a dream that he was to sacrifice him. Ismail answered, "Do as you are commanded, and you will find me, if Allah wills, among the patient." Allah ransomed him with a great sacrifice, which Muslims remember every Eid al-Adha. Later father and son built the Kaaba together, Ismail passing the stones, and prayed that Makkah would be blessed. The Qur'an calls Ismail true to his promise, a messenger and a prophet.
Ibrahim's Sacrifice tells the whole story at length for older children. Juz by Juz: Ibrahim and Ismail, with Sheikh Azhari and his children, and the picture book Stories from the Quran 2, as a book and an audiobook, suit the youngest. Each title's page gives its Qur'an and hadith sources and questions to talk about afterwards.
