What is Al Haadiy: The Little Bird's Prayer about?

Al Haadiy: The Little Bird's Prayer is an Islamic video for children aged 4 to 9 in which Uncle Asad tells the story of Lulu, a lost little bird who learns to ask Allah, Al-Haadi, the Guide, for help.

One sunny morning, on his usual walk in the jungle, Uncle Asad hears a tiny voice calling for help. On a branch he finds a little bird, trembling, her eyes full of worry. It is Lulu. She was flying with her mummy and daddy when she saw some shiny berries, and they were so yummy that she could not stop eating them. When she looked up, her parents were gone.

Uncle Asad tells her about one of Allah's beautiful names, Al-Haadi, the Guide. Al-Haadi shows us the right way, whether we are lost in the jungle, in a playground or in a shop. He guides us in different ways: sometimes through good people, sometimes through things around us like trees or books, and sometimes through our hearts and minds. So Lulu closes her eyes and prays. When she opens them, she sees a tree with purple leaves, and she remembers it: her family often gathers there. She flies to the tree, and her mummy and daddy are waiting for her.

A few days later, Lulu comes back to thank Uncle Asad. The video ends with his reminder: when you feel lost, pray to Allah, or just talk to Him in your heart. It is music-free and a Miraj original.
