What is Allah Gave Me... Audio Collection about?

Allah Gave Me... Audio Collection is an Islamic audiobook for children aged 4 to 9 that brings together five books about the senses, each one a celebration of a gift from Allah and a reminder to thank Him.

Allah Gave Me Two Eyes to See, by Fatima M. D'Oyen, opens the collection by touching on every sense in turn: green leaves and rainbows, a hummingbird and a whispering breeze, sour cherries, burning leaves and a kitten's rough tongue. It ends with a mind to think and a heart to love Allah, and with SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah and Allahu Akbar.

Allah Gave Me Two Ears to Hear, by Amrana Arif, follows a child's day of sounds, from the alarm clock and Daddy reciting the Qur'an to the adhan and a mother's lullaby. Allah Gave Me a Nose to Smell, by Rizwana Qamaruddin, moves from bubble baths and iftar to the smells that warn us of danger. Allah Gave Me a Tongue to Taste, by Ayesha Jones, explores sweet, sour, salty and bitter, and the halal foods named in the Qur'an. Allah Gave Me Two Hands and Feet, by Raana Bokhari, closes the collection with hands that hug, eat and pray, and feet that run on the beach, score a goal and walk to the mosque.

Every book rhymes and repeats its title line, so young children quickly join in. Together the five books take about 15 minutes, and the collection is music-free.
