What is Build a Mosque about?
Build a Mosque is an Islamic puzzle game for children aged 4 to 6 in which they piece together a picture of a mosque and decorate its courtyard.
Children fit the pieces of the puzzle together until the mosque is complete, then have fun decorating its courtyard. But it is not an ordinary puzzle. When the final piece slots into place, something happens that we will leave for your child to discover.
The mosque is the house of prayer, where Muslims come together to pray, to learn the Qur'an and to meet their community. Building one piece by piece is a natural way to talk with a young child about their own mosque: what it looks like, who they see there, and what people do when they go.
The game suits children who are visiting the mosque for the first time, or who already go with their family and want to talk about it. Parents can ask their child to describe the parts they know, like the dome, the minaret and the courtyard, and plan a visit together.
Build a Mosque is a Miraj original.
