What is Challenge Game Insects about?
Challenge Game Insects is a learning game for children aged 4 to 9 in which they test their knowledge of insects by listening carefully and tapping the right picture.
The cover shows a butterfly, a bee and a ladybird, three small creatures children can often find in a garden or a park. Children listen, look at the pictures in the boxes, and tap the right one. At the end of the game, they see their score.
It is a simple game with a clear goal, and the score at the end gives children a reason to play again and do better. They learn the names of the insects as they go, which makes the next walk outside a chance to spot them for real.
Insects are small, but they have a big place in the Qur'an. A whole surah, An-Nahl, is named after the bee, and it tells how Allah inspired the bee to build its home and make honey that is a healing for people. After the game, parents can talk with their child about honey, flowers and the tiny creatures that Allah looks after.
