What is Challenge Game Birds about?
Challenge Game Birds is a learning game for children aged 4 to 9 in which they test their knowledge of birds by listening carefully and tapping the right picture.
The cover shows a small purple bird, a hoopoe with its striped wings and crown of feathers, and an owl. Children listen, look at the pictures in the boxes, and tap the right one. At the end of the game, they see their score.
It is a simple game with a clear goal, and the score at the end gives children a reason to play again and do better. They learn the names of the birds as they go, including some they may not see every day.
The hoopoe is a lovely bird to talk about with Muslim children, because it is in the Qur'an. In Surah An-Naml, a hoopoe brings news to Prophet Sulayman (AS) of a people far away. After the game, parents can tell their child that story, or simply talk about the many birds Allah has made, big and small, bright and plain.
Children who enjoy it can go on to Challenge Game Birds 2, with a new set of birds.
Challenge Game Birds is a Miraj original.
