What is Al Waliy Jigsaw about?

Al Waliy Jigsaw is an Islamic jigsaw game for children aged 4 to 9, named after Al Waliy, Our Protecting Friend, one of the Beautiful Names of Allah.

Children fit the pieces together to complete the picture. There are four levels of difficulty, so a child can start with an easy puzzle, move up to a harder one as they get better, and see how well they can do.

The name Al Waliy means that Allah is with us everywhere and protects us, at home, at school and at night when the house is dark. As the picture comes together, it is a chance to talk with a child about the things that frighten them, and about calling on Allah, "Ya Waliy", when they feel scared.

In the Miraj library, Al Waliy is also a picture book and an animated poem about a boy who is frightened by noises in the night, until he learns that Allah is his protecting friend. The jigsaw puts the same name in front of children in a different way, through a calm puzzle they can come back to.

Al Waliy Jigsaw is a Miraj original.
